Duties

- Conduct comprehensive data collection and analysis to monitor inventory levels and identify discrepancies using ERP systems, AS400, and warehouse management systems.
- Support demand planning and forecasting by analyzing sales trends, merchandising data, and market demand through tools like Tableau, Power BI, and data visualization platforms.
- Manage order fulfillment processes ensuring timely delivery by coordinating with procurement, sourcing, and 3PL providers.
- Utilize SQL and data mining techniques to extract insights that inform sourcing strategies and process improvements.
- Oversee warehouse distribution activities including materials management, forklift operations, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with purchasing teams to negotiate supplier terms, optimize procurement strategies, and improve supply chain efficiency.




- Implement process improvements based on analysis skills to enhance warehouse operations, reduce costs, and increase accuracy in inventory tracking.

Requirements

- Proven experience with data analysis skills including SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of supply chain concepts such as demand planning, procurement, materials management, and order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution methods and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms used for inventory control.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with experience in sourcing or retail management environments.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets using data mining techniques for process optimization.
