patrolling, and system oversightRespond to routine, emergency, and security-related incidentsIdentify and report security breaches, safety hazards, and suspicious activitiesProvide customer service, assist visitors, and support site operationsEscort emergency personnel (police, fire, ambulance) when requiredRespond to alarms, support evacuations, and perform emergency proceduresConduct access control, screening, and trespass management in accordance with legal guidelinesComplete incident reporting and follow-up investigationsPerform site inspections, lock-up/opening procedures, and safety checksWork collaboratively with site partners to maintain a safe environmentRequirements/ QualificationsMinimum High School Diploma (Grade 12)Minimum 2 years of security experience (tactical experience preferred)OR 1 year experience with a relevant Canadian diploma/degree (Police Foundations, Law Enforcement, Investigations, Community Justice, etc.)Strong knowledge of Criminal Code, Trespass to Property Act, and use of force/arrest proceduresExcellent communication and active listening skillsAbility to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidaysPhysically able to stand/walk for extended periods (up to 12-hour shifts)We do not use AI in our recruitment process.
