The Canadian Badlands Passion Play is offering a Stage Management Intern position from May 10th to July 29th, 2012. This is a great chance for individuals with a background in stage management to develop their skills while working with over 200 volunteer actors and enjoying the thrill of live theatre. A willingness to learn and adapt to challenges is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Director during rehearsals and performances
• Ensure backstage safety for cast and crew
• Help with documentation for props and wardrobe needs
• Facilitate the backstage process with ASM support
• Cue actors throughout the production
Requirements:
• Student or recent graduate from a theatre study program
• Background in stage management preferred
• Strong detail orientation and people skills
• Ability to handle challenges calmly in a show environment
• Openness to varied responsibilities as the role evolves
