About A&K; Scaffolding

A&K; Scaffolding provides scaffold installation, rental, and sales for commercial and residential projects across Metro Vancouver. Our work includes system scaffolding, stair towers, temporary roofs, weather protection, and custom access solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Scaffold Lead Hand to guide a crew while working alongside them. You will help organize daily tasks and make sure scaffolding is erected, modified, and dismantled safely and according to approved drawings.

$36–$45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

What You’ll Do
Work alongside the crew to erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding
Guide crew members through the day’s work and help assign tasks
Follow scaffold drawings, approved plans, and site instructions
Check that required materials and equipment are available
Support and train less experienced scaffolders




Identify hazards and promptly raise safety or design concerns
Communicate progress, material needs, and site issues to A&K;’s operations team

What You’ll Bring
Solid hands-on experience erecting and dismantling scaffolding systems
Experience guiding scaffold crews, preferably on commercial projects
Ability to read scaffold drawings and explain the work to crew members
Practical knowledge of fall protection, safe access, load limits, and scaffold safety
Transparent communication skills and a willingness to work alongside the crew
Ability to lift materials, climb, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to job sites across Metro Vancouver

Experience with ringlock scaffolding, stair towers, temporary roofs, shrink wrap, or debris containment is an asset.
