Become a vital part of the Voyageur Aviation Corp. team as an Aircraft Maintenance Shop Authority in Kanata. This full time role focuses on ensuring the integrity of aircraft maintenance. Reporting to the Supervisor in the Accessory Shop, you will oversee aircraft inspections, troubleshoot, and repair essential systems, leveraging over three years of experience in component repair. Your mentorship will guide technicians, while your attention to safety will uphold company policies and boost operational success. Key Responsibilities:
Approve inspections conducted on landing gear and brakes
Conduct functional testing and repairs on components
Mentor junior Technicians in the Accessory Shop
Maintain compliance with safety and maintenance practices
Ensure a tidy and protected worksite Requirements:
3+ years experience in aircraft component repair
Prior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer experience necessary
Must obtain SCA privilege in 6 months
Solid communication skills required
