Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist customers with product selection, and ensure the sales floor is well-maintained. This role offers an opportunity to develop retail and sales skills in a agile environment, contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers. Prior experience in retail or grocery store settings is a plus, especially with POS systems and cashiering.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections
Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
Conduct product demos when applicable to educate customers about features and benefits
Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment to keep the sales floor organized
Provide excellent customer service through active listening, clear communication,



and phone etiquette
Assist in supervising team members when needed, supporting a collaborative work environment
Perform basic retail math for transactions and inventory management

Requirements
Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments is preferred
Solid communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are advantageous
Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos is desirable
Supervising experience is a plus but not required
Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
