To learn more about the company, please visit: www.Well.Company.Position Summary:The Director of Reporting & Technical Accounting leads the organization’s external and internal financial reporting and serves as the primary authority on complex accounting matters. Responsible for all Financial Statements and MD&A; preparation and coordinate with Auditors. This role ensures compliance with IFRS, oversees technical accounting analyses, and manages the preparation of accurate, timely financial statements and disclosures.What you will be doingFinancial ReportingLead all external reporting processes and audit coordination and managementPrepare and review quarterly,



and annual financial statements in Workiva including all appropriate disclosuresEnsure financial statements and disclosures are complete, accurate and compliant with IFRSCoordinate with Deloitte the audit process, submissions and timelinesDrive process improvements and automation in reporting and close activitiesCoordinate and work closely with subsidiaries for all quarterly deliverablesPrepare CODM Monthly Reporting PackageTechnical AccountingReview all PPAs, Impairment and accounting memos by subsServe as subject matter expert on complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, leases, equity, business combinations, impairments, and consolidationProactively research, interpret, and implement new accounting standards and regulatory guidancePrepare and review technical accounting memos and position papers for the WELL GroupResponsible for roll-out of all new accounting pronouncements that impacts WEL GroupPrepare all policies that are required to standardise WELL accounting processes eg: Revenue Recognition, Impairment, etcAdvise management on accounting implications of business transactions and PPAsProvide accounting guidance and training across the organizationMaintain strong internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance if applicable)You haveBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field requiredCPA designation required (or international equivalent)Advanced education (e.G., master’s in accounting,



Finance, or MBA) is an assetStrong technical accounting and IFRS expertiseExperience leading external audits and complex reporting processesProven ability to work cross-functionally in a multi-entity and/or public company environmentHands-on experience with Workiva and reporting process automation is an assetStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsThe salary for this position falls within a defined range and will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the needs of the organization.
