Hays is partnering with an established residential owner-operator to recruit a Resident Manager in Greater Victoria. This is a great prospect to join a stable and supportive organization where you will take ownership of a residential building, combining resident relations, leasing and day-to-day building operations.

Your new role

As the live-in Resident Manager, you will be a key point of contact for residents and help oversee the day-to-day operation of the property. This is a wide-ranging, hands-on position with responsibilities including:
Providing excellent service and support to residents
Showing suites and supporting leasing and renewals
Collecting rent and following up on outstanding payments
Completing suite and property inspections
Coordinating contractors and scheduled work
Handling general property administration and documentation
Supporting light maintenance, cleaning and touch-up painting as required
Taking ownership of resident inquiries and resolving issues

You will work alongside an established team with additional maintenance,



cleaning and landscaping support available. What you'll need to succeed
2+ years of building management experience
Property management or residential leasing experience is an asset
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with technology and learning new systems
Flexible to work a rotating schedule, including alternating weekends
Valid Class 5 drivers licence and access to a vehicle
Willingness to live onsite

What you'll get in return You will receive a salary of $55,000–$63,000 depending on experience, alongside a significant rental discount. The wider package includes health and dental perks, an RRSP program, wellness benefits, 2 weeks' vacation and comprehensive training.
