Red Seal Heavy-Duty Mechanic – Dump Trucks & Hydrovac Trucks

We are looking for an experienced Red Seal Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience maintaining and repairing dump trucks and hydrovac trucks, along with a solid understanding of heavy-duty equipment and diesel systems. This position is a mobile position

Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and braking systems
Service and repair dump trucks and hydrovac trucks
Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and related components
Complete regular maintenance and safety inspections
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and accurately
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard




Respond to breakdowns and perform field repairs when required
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications
Red Seal Journeyperson Heavy-Duty Mechanic certification required
Proven experience working on dump trucks and hydrovac trucks
Solid knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy-duty truck components
Experience with troubleshooting and diagnostic equipment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Valid driver's licence
Class 1 or Class 3 licence is an asset
CVI inspection experience is an asset
Previous field-service experience is an asset

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
