We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support licensed physiotherapists in delivering high-quality care to diverse patient populations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced healthcare setting focused on patient recovery and wellness.

Responsibilities
Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans and therapy sessions for patients.
Support patient care by preparing treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for therapy sessions.
Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
Provide encouragement and education to patients on exercises and activities prescribed by physiotherapists.
Maintain a clean, organized,



and protected treatment setting in compliance with health regulations.
Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and healthcare staff to coordinate care.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records as needed.

Qualifications
Previous experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care.
Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent patient care with a compassionate approach.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
