Provide support as an Aftercare Services Worker at Dilico Anishinabek Family Care in Thunder Bay. This contract position focuses on delivering aftercare support to individuals post-treatment. In this role, you will assist clients by facilitating group sessions and connecting them with vital community resources. Ideal candidates will have experience working with addictions in an Anishinabek context and possess the ability to create impactful aftercare experiences aligned with Dilico's philosophy. Your role will be pivotal in supporting clients’ transitions and ongoing recovery. Key Responsibilities:
Organize and conduct group educational sessions
Establish connections with community resources
Coordinate individual aftercare plans
Lead group treatment facilitation
Assist in client recovery and reintegration Requirements:
Minimum HBSW degree or equivalent experience
Relevant background in mental health and addiction
Familiarity with Anishinabek culture and community
