Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Tagalog Speaking Preferred

Secure Umbrella Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide in-home support to a client.

We are looking for someone who is experienced in providing personal care and who is comfortable preparing Filipino or Vietnamese-style meals.

Responsibilities
Provide compassionate personal care and companionship
Assist with activities of daily living as required
Prepare meals according to the client's preferences
Prepare Filipino and/or Vietnamese-style home-cooked meals
Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment
Follow the client's care plan and individual preferences
Communicate professionally with the client and family
Report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor

Qualifications




PSW certificate or relevant caregiving experience
Previous experience providing in-home or community-based care
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prepare Filipino or Vietnamese-style meals
Reliable, patient and compassionate
Tagalog language skills are an asset and preferred for this assignment
Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan
Vulnerable Sector Check and other required documentation
