Pharmacy Assistant – CityMed Pharmacy

CityMed Pharmacy is hiring a reliable, organized, and patient-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will support pharmacists with prescription processing, customer service, inventory, medication preparation, deliveries, and daily pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities
Enter and process prescriptions using WinRx
Handle refill requests and maintain accurate patient records
Assist with medication preparation, labeling, and compounding
Manage inventory, stock, and pharmacy supplies
Maintain prescription filing and documentation
Assist with medication reviews, vaccinations, and other pharmacy services
Provide friendly and professional customer service
Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy
Assist with medication deliveries and delivery records
Follow pharmacy policies, confidentiality requirements, and provincial regulations

Qualifications




Previous pharmacy or customer service experience preferred
WinRx experience is an asset
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable using smartphones and Google Maps
Ability to lift to 35 lbs
Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence is an asset
