We invite you to bring your expertise in planning and performance to a team dedicated to building a great city.What will you do?Contribute to the development of department and branch business strategies in alignment with the City’s Strategic Planning FrameworkLead and facilitate business planning processes, translating corporate direction into actionable plans for various branchesDevelop, implement, and monitor performance measures to identify trends and recommend corrective actions for service deliveryCollaborate with financial teams to ensure business planning is integrated with budget processesIdentify, monitor, and report on risks and mitigation plans to ensure operational safety and efficiencyFacilitate the creation and update of policies, supporting audits and Council reports as requiredAct as a trusted advisor to collaborators across the organization, providing expertise on strategic and corporate plansQualificationsUniversity degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Public Administration, Planning, Humanities, or a related disciplineA minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in strategic and operational business planning, risk management, and performance measurementProven experience in interpreting financial data and developing business casesAssetsPrevious leadership,
