SALARY/WAGE starting at $27/hour, commensurate with experience

JOB SUMMARY The Agency is assisting Ardy Rigging in recruiting several labourers to join their team, working on sitesthroughout Western Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform construction, rigging, and general labour duties as assigned.
- Assist with site preparationand cleanup activities.
- Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and small equipment appropriate to their training.
- Perform physical work including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, kneeling, climbing, and working on uneven terrain.
- Follow work instructions provided by supervisors and crew leaders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free worksite.
- Complete daily housekeeping of vehicles, trailers, equipment, and work areas.
- Assist with mobilization and demobilization of job sites.
- Conduct pre-use inspections of tools and equipment.
- Report damaged equipment, hazards, incidents, and near misses immediately.
- Work collaboratively with coworkers, subcontractors, clients, and other trades.
- Follow company policies, safe work procedures, and project specifications.




- Maintain professionalism while representing Ardy Rigging on customer sites.
- Participate in company training and ongoing skills development.
- Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.
- Magnetic Drill Press Operation.
- Cutting and grinding of structural steel.
- Measuring and layout.
- Skid Steer Operation.
- Light Vehicle Operation.
- Common power and hand tool use.

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous construction experience is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position.
- CSTS 2020 (or willingness to obtain).
- WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain).
