Passport Photo Technician — Part Time (Downtown Victoria)

Lightwell Photography is a small passport and ID photo studio in the Bay Centre. We've been here since 2013. We're looking for one person to run the shop one or more days per week. 830-4

What the job is

You open the shop, take passport, visa, citizenship and ID photos, edit and print them, and send the customer on their way. Most visits take ten minutes. You'll also book the occasional headshot session, run the till, keep the place tidy and stocked, and send the week's numbers to our bookkeeper. You will trouble shoot tech issues with the cameras / printers / computer etc etc.

You work alone. The shop is yours for the day. That suits some people and not others — worth knowing up front.

What we're looking for

Someone reliable who is positive with people.



A lot of our customers are stressed about a deadline or confused about the rules, and the job is mostly making that easy for them. Careful with details, because government photo specs are unforgiving. Comfortable on a computer.

Photography or Photoshop experience is a a requirement. We'll train you on everything else. Must have fluent English and be valuable at managing multiple customers at one time To apply

Pay: $21.50 per hour
