Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Night Line Cook to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering quality meals in a quick-paced restaurant environment. The position offers flexible evening hours and an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a dynamic food service setting.

Must be available Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

Typical start time is between 5:00 and 6:30 pm

Typical end time can be anywhere between 9:00 pm and 1:00 am

Having your own transportation is an asset

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients
Support meal preparation during busy service periods to meet customer demands




Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during night shifts

Skills
Experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
Robust understanding of kitchen operations and food service workflows
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory for motivated candidates
