We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part Time Cook to join our kitchen staff. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency
Follow established recipes and food preparation guidelines to ensure accurate meal assembly
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Serve meals efficiently to senior tenants maintaining good service standards
Assist with kitchen organization, including stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace
Support meal prep activities during busy periods to ensure timely service
Collaborate with team members to create a positive and energetic kitchen workplace
Qualifications
Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently and accurately
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Basic kitchen experience including familiarity with cooking tools and equipment
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting
