Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals to our guests by preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service expectations
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation,



cooking, or as a line/prep cook in a restaurant or food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and food industry best practices
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality presentation and taste of dishes
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency across all menu items
