Site Superintendent - Permanent - 4276

About the Opportunity

A well-regarded Calgary general contractor is adding a Site Superintendent to their team to run day-to-day operations on an active ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) project.

This is a single, dedicated hire, not a rotating cast, so you'll get real ownership over your site from mobilization through handover.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Manage all on-site activity, from mobilization through final handover
- Direct trades and subcontractors to keep the schedule on track
- Own site safety: toolbox talks, inspections, and incident response
- Coordinate deliveries, laydown, and overall site logistics
- Run quality control checks and manage the deficiency process
- Keep the Project Manager looped in on progress, issues, and changes
- Maintain thorough daily documentation

About You





The successful candidate will have the following:

- 5+ years as a Site Superintendent on ICI builds
- Working knowledge of the Alberta Building Code and OH&S; standards
- Track record managing multiple trades on a live site
- Calm under pressure and direct in communication
- Valid driver's license and own transportation
- Formal construction education is an asset, not a requirement

About the Job

This is a permanent, full time position with a base salary in the $95,000 to $135,000 range depending on experience, plus full benefits.
