WHAT THIS ROLE WILL BE DOING:

The Literature & Sample Fulfillment Associate supports the preparation, cutting, organization, packaging, and shipment of ChamClad product samples, literature, and marketing materials. This hands‑on role operates cutting equipment, prepares samples for production and marketing, maintains sample and literature inventory, and ensures work is completed accurately, safely, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Sample Cutting & Preparation

- Operate computerized saws, table saws, and other approved cutting equipment to prepare samples.
- Cut production and marketing samples to approved sizes and specifications.
- Measure, inspect, label, and organize samples before release.
- Prepare samples for customers, distributors, sales representatives, marketing programs, and internal requests.
- Pull, prepare, assemble, package,



and ship literature and sample orders.
- Prepare sample kits, marketing packages, product launch materials, contractor boxes, and other approved materials.
- Verify orders are complete, accurate, and packaged to prevent shipping damage.
- Prepare shipments using company-approved carriers and shipping procedures.

Inventory & Material Organization

- Maintain organized inventory of product samples, literature, packaging supplies, and related marketing materials.
- Assist with inventory counts, stocking, labelling, and reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or damaged materials.
- Gather and prepare materials required for approved production, sample, and marketing requests.

Additional Responsibilities

Equipment Care, Housekeeping & Safety

- Keep saws, tools, work areas, storage locations, and sample materials clean, organized, and safe.
- Complete basic equipment setup and cleaning according to established procedures.
- Use required personal protective equipment and follow approved safe-work procedures.
- Report hazards, damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or quality concerns immediately.

Documentation & Communication

- Follow approved sample sizes, specifications, work instructions, and department procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory, order, shipment, and sample-preparation records.
- Communicate shortages, delays, material concerns, and completed work to the appropriate supervisor.
- Work with Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Warehouse employees to coordinate priorities.

Qualifications





- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in fulfillment, warehouse operations, inventory, manufacturing, or sample preparation is preferred.
- Ability to safely operate approved cutting equipment and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow sample dimensions and specifications.
- Basic math, computer, inventory, and data‑entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, teamwork, dependability, and follow‑through.
- Experience with an ERP or inventory system is an asset.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

- Work is performed in an active sample‑preparation, warehouse, and manufacturing environment.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and working around approved cutting equipment.
- Must be able to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- May require flexibility to complete urgent production, sample, marketing, or shipping requests.

Overall Purpose

This is a hands‑on fulfillment role that supports ChamClad production, marketing, sales, and customer‑service requirements by providing accurately cut product samples and properly prepared literature and marketing materials. The associate is responsible for completing assigned work safely, maintaining organized materials and inventory, protecting product quality, and ensuring orders are accurately prepared and shipped on time.
