About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Live-In Building Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of a new 110-unit apartment building currently under construction in Lindsay, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a residential property, providing excellent service to tenants, and ensuring the building remains safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the building
- Coordinate and respond to tenant maintenance requests and concerns
- Complete minor repairs and general maintenance as required
- Coordinate with contractors, trades, and service providers
- Monitor building systems and report any issues requiring attention
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas and building systems
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the property
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and tenant-related needs
- Respond to building emergencies when required
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
- Help ensure the property is safe, secure, and properly maintained
- Support property management with general administrative and operational tasks

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Building Superintendent, Property Manager, Maintenance Technician, or similar role
- Solid residential building maintenance experience
- Hands-on experience with general repairs and maintenance
- Strong communication and customer service skills




- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- Ability to respond to after-hours building issues when required
- Previous experience with apartment or multi-residential buildings is considered an asset

- Strong residential building maintenance experience
- Hands-on experience with general repairs and maintenance
