Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LOGGING Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting timber safely and efficiently across various routes, generally in Southern Okanagan - Fraser Valley to Revelstoke or Kamloops but requires some flexibility. This role requires a strong commitment to reliability and safety.

Duties

- Operate various types of trucks including Peterbilt and Western Star with B-Trains, tridem and long-loggers.
- Drive manual transmission.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Navigate delivery routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records by paper and/or ELD.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and/or office support and/or owner to ensure timely delivery schedules are met.




- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to commercial driving.

Qualifications

- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Proven experience in LOG truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving and driver responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full time Pay: $28.69-$40.62 per hour
