Insurance, our culture code is: Do good Be better Own it Move forward Create fun The Managing Partner is responsible for day to day operations of the branch, leading and supervising a staff committed to service excellence and ensuring sales of products contribute positively to the profitability of the organization, while ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, and policies.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Monitor branch, and department activities to ensure that quality service is being provided and that work flows effectively and efficiently.

Mentor, coach and develop staff to ensure objectives are achieved and clients receive a consistent level of quality, personalized service.

Establish performance standards, evaluate performance and if necessary initiate further training and development or disciplinary procedures.

Ensure effective teamwork and communication with the branch.

Research and recommend changes to the branch operations that improve efficiency and/or service quality.

Translate the annual business objectives into manageable goals for branch and departments.





Act as an ambassador for Brio Insurance by being visible in the community and supporting community initiatives, soliciting business opportunities that add positively to the profitability of the credit union.

Maintain a thorough knowledge of industry and competitive trends that affect business plans and encourage this knowledge in employees.

Resolve complex problems and client complaints referred by staff or corporate office to ensure the needs of clients, staff and organization are met.

Demonstrate commitment to the creation of a respectful workplace.

Actively lead and participate in meetings, planning and training initiatives, sharing information and ideas that contribute to the organization’s goals and success Ensure appropriate internal control procedures are followed and reported on as required.

Ensure the branch premises are maintained, providing a safe environment for employees and members.

Monitor vacation within the branch to ensure optimal coverage is maintained.

Review branch detailed financial statements monthly and control branch expenses through the application of internal checks and balances.

Operate as the primary contact for clients, managing the relationship on behalf of the organization to ensure the clients’ needs are met and the relationship remains profitable.

Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve organizational and department objectives.

Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to organizational policies and procedures on risk management, confidentiality,



security and fraud prevention.

Essential Qualifications

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration or equivalent

Leadership competency with high emphasis on quality of customer service

Ability to develop employees in a coaching environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner

Critical thinker who analyzes information and uses logic to address issues, problems and challenges

Innovative thinker, open to new ideas, processes and applications

Proven team player who is both adaptable and adaptable

Ability to work in an environment with multiple and changing priorities

Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures

Advanced knowledge of risk management within the insurance industry

Proficient computer skills

Employee Sub-Type Regular Starting Salary $82,687.00 Salary Band $82,687.00 - $105,423.00 In most situations, candidates will be offered the starting salary for the position. In exceptional circumstances, and at the organization’s discretion, an offer may be made above the stated minimum based on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, internal equity and external compensation factors. When underfilling a position, the salary offered may be in a lower salary band.
