We are seeking a Master Electrician Subcontractor who takes pride in flawless execution, white-glove professionalism, and tailored care for luxury residential environments.

Overview

As a Master Electrician Subcontractor with HomeTailors, you will partner with our concierge team to execute high-end residential electrical installations, upgrades, and precision troubleshooting. You will be responsible for pulling required electrical permits, ensuring flawless compliance with safety standards, and delivering refined workmanship in occupied, high-value homes.

In this role, you bring your licensed expertise and tools; we handle client acquisition, scheduling, invoicing, and administrative oversight.

Duties & Responsibilities

Precision Execution: Perform electrical installations, service panel upgrades, smart home integrations, architectural lighting layouts, low-voltage wiring, and custom residential electrical enhancements.

Blueprint & Schematic Interpretation: Read and interpret architectural blueprints, lighting schedules, and technical drawings to guide precise installations.

Concierge Collaboration: Work alongside dedicated HomeTailors Concierges to deliver a seamless, white-glove client experience.

Code & Permit Compliance:



Pull necessary Calgary/Alberta electrical permits and ensure all work strictly complies with current Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and local regulations.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Efficiently diagnose electrical issues and perform discreet repairs with minimal disruption to the residence.

Site Care & Protection: Maintain pristine work spaces, using floor protection and site containment to leave every residence exactly as the architect intended.

Requirements

Certification: Certified Master Electrician status in the Province of Alberta (or Journeyman capable of holding/pulling Master Electrician permits).

Business Requirements: Active WCB coverage, minimum $2M Commercial General Liability insurance, and valid business registration.

Residential Experience: Proven expertise in high-end, estate-scale residential electrical systems, luxury renovations, lighting design, and smart home tech.

Uncompromising Standards: Extreme attention to detail—from perfectly aligned faceplates to clean conduit runs and dust-free work areas.

White-Glove Professionalism: Excellent communication skills, quiet polish, and absolute discretion when working inside private residences.
