The City of Kenora seeks a part time Instructor/Lifeguard to enhance our aquatic programs while ensuring patron safety. Your role will be pivotal in delivering engaging swimming activities. As an Instructor/Lifeguard, you'll oversee planning for aquatic lessons and ensure patron safety through effective supervision. You’ll maintain accurate records pertaining to aquatic programs and assist with daily office duties. Leadership will be essential as you guide student staff and respond to emergencies, and you will also support staff training initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Provide effective aquatic program planning and delivery
Supervise patrons for their safety and wellbeing
Maintain records related to aquatic activities
Lead student staff and respond to emergencies
Assist with training and orientation for recent staff Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Current Swim for Life Certificate
Must obtain L.S.S. Instructor Certificate
Valid NL Pool Certificate is required
