Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality, presentation, and consistency
Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by ensuring timely meal service
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service

Skills




Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently under pressure
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel
Knowledge of meal preparation processes and culinary techniques
Prior experience with serving guests or customers is a plus but not required
Enthusiasm for learning current skills and contributing positively to a fast-paced environment
