Course Format: On farm and small group discussions.The Ruminant Health Management I, farm service rotation provides direct application of knowledge and refinement of relevant psychomotor skills in the context of clinical training working directly with client-owned patients as a member of the service team.

CVO license

Prior Teaching Experience:

Successful teaching related to field at college or university level

Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content:

Required qualifications: DVM with current valid CVO license,



successful teaching experience with DVM students in a clinical ruminant setting. Access to clinical ruminant cases through existing veterinary practicePrior Teaching Experience: Previous teaching experience with DVM students on-farm and in small group discussions.

Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content:

Candidate will have a strong background in providing veterinary services to ruminant owning clients – primarily dairy cows. Ideally would be able to pick up and drop off students at OVC on designated days for teaching. Preferably could accommodate up to 3 students at one time.
