Al's Steakhouse located at 327 Elgin Street is looking for a full time line cook. Must have over 3 years experience.

Key responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner during busy service periods.
Ensure proper food storage and labeling
Assist with prep work, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients.
Monitor portion control and minimize waste
Assist with inventory and restocking
Support other kitchen stations as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
Communicate effectively with chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house team members.





Required Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, frying, baking, etc.)
Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure workplace
Solid time management and multitasking skills
Teamwork and communication skills
Physical stamina (standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs)

Paying $22-$26 per hour based on experience plus tips. Includes Dental insurance after 1 year of employment. Availability to work days, evening shifts and weekends.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
