Nelson’s Hume Hotel & Spa is legendary in the Kootenays for creating memorable guest experiences and delivering exceptional service. We’re looking for a Breakfast Cook, Pizza Cook, and Preparation Cook to join our team!

THE JOB:

As a Cook at the Hume, you’ll be part of a busy kitchen team preparing menu items for our guests.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and thrives in a rapid-paced kitchen workplace while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness and safety.

YOU ARE:
A positive and dependable team player

Comfortable working in a busy kitchen
Passionate about preparing great food
Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety

YOU HAVE:
At least 3 years of commercial cooking experience
Solid attention to detail
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability




Knowledge of safe food handling and preparation practices
FoodSafe certification, or willingness to obtain it
