Duties
Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of high-quality meals
Handle food safely by following proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
Support serving staff by preparing ingredients and assembling dishes for service
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in meal quality
Contribute to productive food service operations by managing multiple tasks seamlessly
Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards to uphold health department requirements
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards is highly desirable
Ability to perform meal preparation and basic cooking tasks confidently
Strong understanding of the importance of food safety practices in a commercial kitchen
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Basic familiarity with serving techniques and customer service principles is a plus
