Responsibilities
- Lead engaging Bollywood dance classes for diverse age groups, ensuring a fun and inclusive atmosphere
- Develop and implement lesson plans that introduce students to the fundamentals of Bollywood choreography and rhythm
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different skill levels and learning styles
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their technique and confidence
- Incorporate cultural elements and storytelling into dance routines to enrich the learning experience
- Maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment, encouraging teamwork and positive interactions
- Collaborate with colleagues to organize performances or community events showcasing student progress
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching dance, specifically Bollywood or similar styles
- Strong classroom experience working with children or early learners in an educational setting
- Passion for dance, performance, and cultural education
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students of all ages
- Ability to create fun, energetic lessons that promote active participation
- Basic knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus
