We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children and families, and is willing to think outside the box to do so when necessary. Using sensory-motor, artistic, pretend or risky types of play are just some of the ways in which we use our creativity to find unique ways of always making sure the children who come to spend time with us, LOVE doing so. The relationship and trust we foster with our clients is always centered, the fun is just extra!

If you also have a passion for the outdoors and nature-based OT, this position offers an opportunity to train closely with Rebecca to develop the necessary skills to become an expert in this unique practice area. Paid training will be provided and opportunities for growth and unique program development are available. This position will include a combination of opportunities that can be tailored to the individual's interests to some extent, but can include:

- 1:1 treatment sessions with pediatric clients of all ages in our clinic or nature-based setting
- small group sessions in clinic or nature-based setting
- home-based/ school-based sessions
- specific interest/needs for FASD/ASD/executive functioning/ADHD support

Basic Details:

- Have reliable transportation
- Pay range will be based on pediatric experience, can be salaried or contract depending on factors
- Available to join our team Fall or Winter of 2026/27

Additional Qualifications:





- Current NB licensure or willingness to relocate
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited university program
- Minimum two years of paediatric experience preferred, but open to exceptional new graduates
- Ability to pass background/vulnerable sector clearance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, hike, climb trees, carry supplies in and out of session, occasionally run/jog, be joyful in movement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Has strong organizational systems to manage documentation, timely communication with families and team members, and progress reporting.
- Is energetic, positive, and can think on your feet to quickly solve problems and deal with the unpredictable chaos that occurs when children and nature combined
- Ideally, has some experience leading small groups of children (this is very different than treating 1 child at a time!).
- Truly enjoys being outdoors in all kinds of weather (because we don’t cancel services unless outdoor conditions are unsafe).
- Enjoys thinking creatively about blending nature and/or other creative modalities into therapy activities to address children’s goals.
- Can skillfully facilitate children’s development of self-regulation by using a relationship-based approach to behaviour.

About us Full Circle Occupational Therapy is a pediatric private OT practice in Fredericton,



NB that provides nature-based OT groups year-round in Fredericton's beautiful Odell Park. We also provide more typical OT services in our new clinic, as well as in client's homes and in various community based settings.
