Position Summary

The position of Shop Hand is responsible for assisting with equipment maintenance, general repairs and equipment tracking and active rig support as required. Position is based out of Blackfalds, AB.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Clean tools and shop area
- Perform inventory and organize spare part storage
- Source parts
- Assist with minor equipment repair tasks
- Yard maintenance and housekeeping
- Repair and track equipment
- Snow Removal
- Assist Equipment Coordinator and Mechanics as required
- Support internal administrative processes as required

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Machinery and Oilfield industry experience preferred
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail orientated
- Basic computer skills

Special Conditions of Employment

- Must have reliable transportation to/ from work
- Must have an active driver’s license in valuable standing
- Work as directed by reporting supervisor
