Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 an hour

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Counter associate to join our team in Vernon, CA. This role will primarily support Sonsray Fleet Services/Thermo King.



The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers and technicians with their parts needs, ensuring efficient inventory management, and contributing to overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and obtaining the correct parts for their equipment.
- Process parts orders, including looking up parts, checking availability, and handling transactions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in regular stock checks.
- Receive and stock new parts shipments, ensuring proper organization and storage.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any parts-related issues in a professional and timely manner.Collaborate with the service department to ensure parts are available when needed for repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a parts counter role, preferably within a dealership or heavy equipment environment.
- Robust knowledge of parts and mechanical components.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using parts catalogs and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus.
