We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Collision Repair Technician to join our energetic team. Responsibilities
Diagnose vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs using industry-standard techniques and tools
Perform collision repairs including frame straightening, panel replacement, dent removal, and refinishing
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively to complete repairs
Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols to ensure quality workmanship
Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
Complete detailed repair reports, documentation, and communicate progress with supervisors
Experience
Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in collision repair required
Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques required
Prior experience working with automotive repair or collision repair shops required
Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and repair procedures effectively
Demonstrated commitment to safety practices in a workshop environment
