About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and knowledgeable Cryptocurrency Compliance Officer to join their team in Kimberley. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all cryptocurrency-related operations adhere to relevant regulations, laws, and internal policies. Your expertise will be crucial in mitigating compliance risks, implementing robust AML/KYC procedures, and maintaining the integrity of our client's digital asset business. This position requires a strong understanding of both financial regulations and the unique landscape of the cryptocurrency industry. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs for cryptocurrency operations. Ensure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations. Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and report as required by law. Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. Stay updated on evolving cryptocurrency regulations and industry best practices.



Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal/external auditors. Provide training to staff on compliance matters related to digital assets. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a legal role, with at least 2 years focused on cryptocurrency or fintech. In-depth knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and procedures. Understanding of blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency market. Experience with compliance software and transaction monitoring tools.
