Overview

We are seeking a friendly and qualified Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and experience in front desk operations within a hotel or hospitality setting.

Multilingual abilities and hotel experience are highly valued to enhance guest interactions and overall satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere
Check guests in and out efficiently using multi-line phone systems and front desk software
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of guest information
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs
Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling, and documentation




Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and customer service at all times
Support other front desk duties as required to ensure smooth hotel operations

Qualifications
Previous experience in hotel front desk or guest services preferred
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Strong communication skills, including proficiency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus
Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service best practices
Qualified appearance and demeanor suitable for a hospitality setting
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed
Bilingual would be an asset
