The Yukon

Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board (YESAB) is looking for a dedicated Assessment District Manager to support the Whitehorse Designated Office. This position requires managing assessments, fostering relationships with First Nations, and guiding staff operations. A comprehensive understanding of the Yukon Environmental Assessment Act is necessary to drive successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Manage all assessment projects in the Whitehorse office
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders




Ensure that participants grasp assessment review processes
Guide and supervise the office's staff and operations
Handle multiple projects and meeting deadlines Requirements:
Previous supervisory and management experience required
Knowledge of the Yukon Environmental Assessment Act
Experience with First Nation governments is beneficial
Relevant undergraduate degree or training in environmental fields preferred
