Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role provides vital support within the pharmacy, assisting pharmacists in medication preparation, patient care, and administrative tasks. Duties

- Assist pharmacists with medication inventory management and restocking supplies
- Prepare and label prescriptions accurately under supervision
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on over-the-counter products
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient interactions
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims
- Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with safety and cleanliness standards




- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery
- Deliver medication(s) as directed by Pharmacist to the patient's address

Requirements

- Need to have valid Driver's license and a car
- Previous hospital or pharmacy technician experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Robust knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and data entry
- Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility for shifts during weekdays and weekends as needed
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to healthcare regulations

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
