About the Position This position is primarily focused on residential plumbing service, including diagnosing problems, completing repairs, troubleshooting plumbing systems, maintaining fixtures and systems, and completing installations.

There will also be times when you will be asked to assist with new construction plumbing or help the team complete outstanding work to meet builder deadlines.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently but also understands that being part of a strong team means stepping in and helping when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential plumbing issues




- Complete residential service calls efficiently and professionally
- Repair and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures
- Install plumbing fixtures and systems
- Identify plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Assist with new construction plumbing when required
- Work with builders, homeowners, and other trades professionally
- Complete work according to current Alberta plumbing codes and safety standards
- Maintain accurate service notes, job documentation, and time records
- Communicate job details and outstanding items with the office
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines

What We’re Looking For

Required:

- Valid Journeyperson Plumber Certificate and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
- Experienced apprentices are encouraged to apply
- CSTS certification
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Valid Basic First Aid certification
- Clean criminal record for site access and customer-service requirements
- Residential plumbing service and troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of current Alberta plumbing codes and regulations
- Experience with plumbing installation, maintenance, and repairs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Robust communication and customer-service skills
- Good time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to perform the physical demands of plumbing work, including:
- Lifting and carrying plumbing materials and equipment
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Bending, kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces
- Working in residential construction and service environments
- Using hand and power tools safely
