The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Product Engineer to become the primary product engineer at Kindly. You’ll inherit a live platform and work directly with the CEO and functional leads to shape what gets built and how.

The platform already supports some of Canada’s top organizations and a nationwide care delivery team. The roadmap spans member-facing products, enterprise capabilities for employers,



and an agentic care coordination layer that helps our care team support families at scale.

This is a broad role covering product, infrastructure, and growth systems, with direct exposure to customers. We use agentic AI tools by default, and you should be genuinely strong with them.

What You’ll Do

- Build and ship product — member-facing features and tools that help families understand their options, make decisions, and coordinate care.
- Own the platform and infrastructure — production systems, deployments, observability, database changes, integrations, and the internal system used by our care team.
- Build enterprise capability — access, reporting, localization, and billing for employer clients.
- Build agentic capability — an AI coordination layer that supports our care team with logistics and helps them serve more families.
- Build the growth engine — the marketing site and conversion flows, technical SEO and content infrastructure, lifecycle messaging, and analytics and attribution in partnership with our marketing lead.
- Work within security controls — we serve regulated employers and operate within SOC 2 guardrails, with a compliance advisor to support good decisions and clear escalation.
- Stay close to customers — join client and sales conversations and translate what you learn into product.

Who You Are

- You’ve built and shipped real software that people used.



The work matters more than where you did it.
- You’re AI-native. You’re fluent with agentic tools such as Claude Code and have good instincts about their limits.
- You’re comfortable across a TypeScript stack: React, Vite, and Next.js; Supabase, Postgres, and Vercel. You can operate the whole system safely.
- You’re resourceful. When you don’t know something, you figure it out.
- You have a positive design eye and care about the quality of what users see and feel.
- You want breadth. Product, growth, and customer work in the same week sounds energizing, not distracting.
- You communicate clearly with non-technical colleagues.
- Bonus: experience in health tech, benefits tech, privacy or compliance (PHIPA, PIPEDA, SOC 2, or Vanta), French, or a design background.
