Daily tasks and responsibilities

- Performs visual inspections of products and informs production line clerk of products failing inspection, with a focus on quality and detail.
- Cleans equipment daily in accordance with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure (SSOP) standards.
- Keeps the line clean and free of debris at all times to ensure safety.
- Responsible for practising and adhering to food safety, positive manufacturing practices (GMP) and health and safety procedures.
- Transfers products from one line area to another.
- Assists in other areas of the department as needed.

Non-essential functions and tasks

- Assists in other areas of the Commissary as necessary.

Qualifications

Education/Training:High school diploma or GED preferred.

Permits/Licenses/Certifications: Costco Food Safety Certification – Level 1 required upon hire.

Experience:None.

Knowledge/Skills:Organizational skills and an eye for detail is an asset.
