About Homelo

We provide reliable, high-quality home cleaning and ongoing bundled home subscriptions for families who want to reduce the mental load of caring for their home. Homelo is a new and growing company so cleaners should expect a smaller number of jobs with the opportunity to take on more work as Homelo grows though the region. We are looking for professional cleaners who take pride in their work, care about the details, and are interested in building a long-term relationship with Homelo.

The Role

As a Homelo Professional Cleaner, you'll provide high-quality residential cleaning for our clients' homes. This is a flexible part time, independent contractor role. You have autonomy over how you complete your cleanings while meeting Homelo's service standards and the agreed scope.

Typical responsibilities include

- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and common areas
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
- Cleaning floors, surfaces, fixtures and high-touch areas
- Emptying garbage and completing standard household cleaning tasks
- Following Homelo cleaning standards and checklists
- Respecting clients' homes, belongings and privacy
- Communicating professionally and reporting any damage or maintenance concerns

Compensation Homelo pays a flat-rate per job. Our pricing is designed so that effective cleaners who are can achieve Homelo's quality standards and earn approximately $30/hour or more depending on efficiency.

Service Providers always keep 100% of the tips from clients.

Independent Contractor Requirements





Homelo would be requesting your services as a professional cleaner to work as independent contractor under our brand. For legal compliance, independent contractors are responsible for maintaining the tools, equipment, and coverage required to operate independently.

Applicants must have

- Their own reliable transportation
- Their own professional cleaning equipment and supplies
- Appropriate liability insurance for residential cleaning work
- The ability to provide proof of insurance upon request
- A professional and reliable means of communicating with Homelo and clients

You are responsible for maintaining your own insurance, equipment, transportation and other business-related expenses associated with your independent contractor work.

- Experienced in residential cleaning
- Reliable and punctual
- Detail-oriented and efficient
- Comfortable working independently
- Respectful of clients' homes and belongings
- Friendly and professional
- Comfortable following cleaning checklists and standards
- Physically capable of residential cleaning work
- Legally able to work in Canada

Getting Started Selected applicants will go through an interview and screening process, followed by a paid trial clean before being offered ongoing client work. This gives both you and Homelo an opportunity to make sure the relationship is a good fit.
