Job Summary:

Join the growing Valuable Earth Coffeehouse team! We’re looking for energetic, food-loving individuals to become Foodistas, our back-of-house kitchen staff in Victoria!

At Good Earth, we believe in real food, made fresh, served with care. Our Foodistas are the heart of our food experience, crafting delicious meals and baked goods that pair perfectly with our exceptional coffee.

:

Prepare and assemble fresh meals, sandwiches, baked goods, and other menu items to Good Earth standards

Follow recipes, portioning, and food presentation guidelines with attention to quality and consistency

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, prep area, and dish station

Label, date, and store food items appropriately to ensure food safety compliance





Support the team by communicating clearly and working efficiently during busy periods

Follow opening, closing, and daily prep procedures

Monitor inventory levels and inform management of supply needs

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a kitchen, café, or quick-service restaurant is an asset

Comfortable with prep work, food handling, and operating kitchen equipment

Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency under pressure

Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (Food Safe Level 1 is a plus)

Team player with a positive attitude and robust work ethic

Pay: $18.25/hour
