About the Role Our client is seeking an innovative Chemical Engineer to join their Current Product Development (NPD) team in Kimberley . This role is essential for conceptualizing, developing, and scaling up new chemical products and processes. You will work at the forefront of chemical innovation, translating laboratory discoveries into commercially viable solutions. The hybrid work structure ensures flexibility, allowing for focused research and development while maintaining strong team collaboration, contributing to groundbreaking advancements in chemical product design and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities Lead the process development and scale-up activities for new chemical products from laboratory to pilot and commercial scale.
Conduct experimental investigations, process optimization studies, and feasibility analyses.
Develop detailed process designs, PFDs, and P&IDs; for new manufacturing processes.
Collaborate closely with R&D; scientists, product managers, and manufacturing teams.
Prepare technical reports, documentation,



and validation protocols for new product introductions.
Ensure that all process designs comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering .
3-5 years of experience in new product development, process scale-up, or chemical process design.
Proven experience with process simulation and modeling tools.
Strong understanding of reaction engineering, separation processes, and formulation science.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting in Kimberley .
