Role Overview

The Quality Inspector / Field Support Specialist is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and reporting on the handling, storage, and transportation of critical turbine components. This role ensures compliance with transportation procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements while overseeing the movement of turbine components throughout various logistics and handover stages.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor handover operations of turbine components between transportation legs.
- Verify compliance with transport manuals, work instructions, and HSE requirements.
- Inspect components, frames, and tooling for visual damage, defects, or deviations.
- Complete inspection checklists and provide detailed reporting.
- Document activities through photographs, videos, and written reports.
- Support assembly and repositioning of TIP FRAME and clamp systems.
- Observe loading, unloading, lashing, and securing activities.
- Verify frame locking mechanisms are correctly positioned prior to vessel loading.
- Monitor storage yard conditions and component security.
- Escalate quality concerns and exercise stop-work authority when required.
- Communicate inspection findings through established escalation procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Experience in quality inspection, quality assurance, quality control, or field inspection.
- Manufacturing, industrial operations, logistics, or transportation experience.
- Solid understanding of inspection processes and procedural compliance.
- Experience completing inspection reports, checklists, and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Engineering degree or technical diploma.
- Manufacturing operations experience.
- Industrial,



logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
- Procurement experience combined with operational or quality responsibilities.
- Experience overseeing the handling of large or critical industrial components.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $34.88/hour - $54.50/hour.
