Responsibilities:
Portioning, and plating to ensure timely delivery of nutritious meals
Serve residents with friendliness and professionalism, ensuring their dietary needs are met with care
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, utensils, and dining spaces in compliance with health regulations
Follow proper food handling procedures to promote safety and prevent contamination
Support the kitchen team in organizing supplies, stocking stations, and managing inventory efficiently




Set up and cleaning dining areas after meals to uphold a welcoming workplace
Collaborate with nursing staff to accommodate special dietary requirements and restrictions

Requirements:
Must possess a current Food Safety Certification
Vulnerable Sector Clearance Check
Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or food service industries is highly preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards
Robust customer service skills with a positive attitude toward residents and team members
Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards consistently
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal service and cleanliness routines
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift supplies, and perform routine cleaning tasks
