We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by providing excellent customer service and administrative support. Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
Maintain accurate patient records, including electronic medical records and insurance information.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
Assist with billing and payment processing, ensuring all transactions are handled accurately.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
Manage office supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain inventory levels.
Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with IPAC regulations.
Assist the dentist for general practice duties, Level 2 certification is an asset
Maintain IPAC protocols and HARP regulations
Skills
Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred.
Proficiency in dental software systems like Paradigm is highly desirable.
Familiarity with electronic medical records and dental terminology is a must.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive and qualified attitude.
