Salary Range: CA$50,000.00 To CA$58,000.00 AnnuallyTitle:Buyer (Contract role for 18-months)Reports to:Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager/ DirectorBased at:Mucci International Marketing Inc., Kingsville, OntarioRevision Date:May 2026.Type of Employment:Full time, 18-month contract, 5-6 days a week which includes, extended hours depending on workload and priorities, which will include some half day Saturdays.Responsibilities Include:Manage Direct and or Indirect procurement, spend and purchasing, which will include MRO, Corrugate, Resin, CAPEX, and LabelsMaintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendorsAccurately track and monitor all open purchase orders, ensuring pricing, quantity and ship dates are heldAnalyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory flow, reduce waste and develop appropriate safety stock levelsEnsures inventory control measures are performed in an efficient and timely mannerProvide regular updates on inbound shipmentsWork with cross functional teams and assist the Inventory Control team with maintaining proper inventory levelsMonthly Inventory countingMonthly reporting on cost save measuresHolding suppliers accountable to KPI’sMaybe asked to complete other tasks based on skills and qualificationsQualifications:Completion of Post-Secondary education in business or related field is requiredAt least 1 year of experience in Purchasing/Buyer rolePrevious experience in a CPG, Food packaging, or related industry is strongly preferredPrevious experience negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers is requiredPrevious experience with full-cycle RFQ process is requiredIntermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook is requiredWorking knowledge of Famous software would be an assetAble to perform daily,



weekly and monthly reporting and balancing of pallets and crates to suppliersReporting of inventory and costing at the end of each month using Microsoft ExcelProven ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with all levels of the organizationPhysical Abilities:Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legsMust be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbsMust be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of timeMust be able to work in a temperature-controlled workplace of approximately 13°C / 55°FCompensation:50-58K, on-site parking, other company perks.Job Requirements:The incumbent will be committed to customer service excellence and leading by example.
